BURGESS 30P® is a flash calcined medium particle size clay used extensively in PVC compounds for improving electricals. When compared to conventionally calcined competitive materials, BURGESS 30P® demonstrated markedly better volume resistivity.
BURGESS 30P® exhibits low specific gravity and excellent color. Lower pound/volume cost results with the lower specific gravity kaolin. Additionally, the flash calcined BURGESS 30P® exhibits improved color in PVC insulation compounds as compared to conventionally calcined competitive kaolins.
