BURGESS NO. 60 is an acid pH, fine particle size, medium brightness hydrous kaolin clay with excellent dispersion properties.
BURGESS NO. 60 is used in inks, adhesives and industrial finishes, electrostatic deposition body primers, and EIFS.
BURGESS NO. 60 is a hydrous kaolin which has undergone extensive dry grinding to facilitate dispersion. BURGESS NO. 60 provides value to ink manufacturers, whether coldset, heatset, or gravure, by contributing gloss and rheology control; exhibiting low abrasiveness; consistent brightness and opacity. BURGESS NO. 60 disperses well in water, oil and solvent based systems.
